A roler coaster weekend!

What a very interesting weekend it was full of adventure! Breanne introduced me to Wonderland! Awesome, Awesome! Courtnie cheered perfectly again this weekend! Cameron enjoyed the giant dill pickle at the game. Jason claimed to be the hairdresser in Brandies absent....not sure I believe that?????? Brandie I'm dieing to know what decision you made in reference to the bus ride to look at rocks? Did you or did you not? Ha Ha! Colton was missed by Dampa this weekend, get better buddy! Ethan & Grandma grrrrrrrrr! To see them high fiving and encouraging each other at the bowling alley was such a drastic change from the insults hurled on Sunday!! I love um both but my goodness!

You want God to just give you the script sometimes?

I wonder if it would be so much easier if God would just give you the script so you know how it all turns out or what your next line is? Probably happening just like He wants it.......but how do you know for sure ? What if your supposed to being doing something else instead of what your doing? I pray and I listen, I put myself in a position and or situations that make it more easily to see or hear what He has to say.........I guess it's just life! I'm thankful for sure!

Had a wonderful time with the girls & the grand kids on Sunday afternoon! Hanging out watching football, eating wings and etc... fun fun fun!

Random thoughts!!!!!

Lets' see here........So many things to get to and so little time?

• My wonderful so wonderful youngest daughter is feeling the stresses of life. I wish I could just zoom her forward by 10 to 15 years so she could get a peek at where she will be.( I know and believe that she would be so pleasantly surprised to see just how successful she will be) Of course if we could see our future then all the lessons that life has in store for us might get skewed then who knows what would happen. I remember another young lady coming to me at about B's age and saying I need to talk to you Dad. What a wonderful successful mother & wife she has become.
• It's taken me about 42 years to finally realize what it means to trust in the Lord. I know we have all heard it a million times and say, "yes but". I'm telling you I hope and pray that I do know what it means to be content with a little, or happy with a lot. Rest upon not on our own understanding but on His.
• My wonderful so wonderful oldest daughter is nervous about an upcoming medical procedure. I wish I had something really profound to say but......I love you Brandie!

Camping season is here and I got bit by the bug! Ethan and I went to Sulphur Springs last weekend and spent three wonderful days @ Cooper Lake. My camping skills were a little rusty but it didn't take long for everything to kick in. We had tents, camp fires & fishing. So by Sunday morning we were ready for the showers for sure.

What is wrong with your Dallas Cowboys? I had the privilege to watch the game with a dear old friend of about 30 years Mike this weekend. Always good to reminisce and catch up. You don't think I get out of the house enough, did you know Little Cesar's has cheese and or pepperoni pizzas already cooked and ready for pick up for only $5.00? Wow, cool!
